How to properly present a master thesis at the Bauhaus-University Weimar during the first lockdown of the COVID time?

For this I choose to transform my office into an exhibition space. Conception and design included the presentation of my working process, an open weekend for COVID-conform visiting the space as well as working and play stations for an active participation of the visitors.

The space was divided into five thematic areas: Presentation, awareness of stereotypical representations, reconstruction of identified stereotypes, reconstruction of stereotypical attributes and feedback. The viewers were guided through the individual stations of my conceptual and creative process up to the finished product.

Wie präsentiert man angemessen eine Masterarbeit der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar während des ersten Lockdowns der COVID-Zeit?

Dafür habe ich kurzerhand mein Büro in einen Ausstellungsraum verwandelt. Konzeption und Gestaltung umfassten die Präsentation meines Arbeitsprozesses, ein offenes Wochenende für COVID-konforme Besuche sowie Arbeits- und Spielstationen für eine aktive Beteiligung der Besucher.

Der Raum war in fünf thematische Bereiche unterteilt: Präsentation, Wahrnehmung stereotyper Repräsentationen, Rekonstruktion identifizierter Stereotypen, Rekonstruktion stereotyper Attribute und Feedback. Die Betrachter wurden durch die einzelnen Stationen meines konzeptionellen und kreativen Prozesses bis hin zum fertigen Produkt geführt.
